Fenix a320 vs fbw. FBW A320 on other hand does better job with actual system simulation and handling. This is the one and only reason that I use Fenix A320 exclusively. Doing approaches and landing at around 20 fps vs 45 is major. And Fenix VS FBW A320, I'll tell you what, I am not sure, the thing is the performance of the Fenix is so bad, even after the update, I will run my PMDG a 45 FPS or FBW even higher and the fenix a 20fps ish. It’s a category of its own. Fenix is unbeatable, it’s leagues ahead of all other addons. My tl;dr conclusion is: Fenix is overrated, and before anyone jumps to my throat, it is a fantastic product and the pricing is terrific but its reputation exceeds what it delivers. If you have the time watch a review, Into the Blue Simulations did an evaluation of the Fenix and you might be able see if it's worth it. Fenix is also pretty complete feature wise. Fenix has openable cockpit windows, it has better systems, all the circuit breakers work, the plane's model is more realistic (the flaps especially look more like the real a320). Mar 23, 2024 · I see no point. FBW isn't bad but the bass and richness of the Fenix is soooooo immersive. Hello! I am currently thinking about which of these aircraft I should purchase. (Thrustmaster TCA airbus sidestick, -15% pitch and roll sensitivity, 0% reactivity gives the closest feeling to real aircraft) Jan 21, 2023 · Taxiing the FBW A320 is a royal PITA even after following directions given in FBW's documentation. Feb 16, 2023 · I don't have the Fenix 320, but spend most of my time in either thew FBW 320 or PMDG 738 which I feel is a great combination. Both look and sound amazing in their own ways. But if you are looking for the most realistic experience, interested in learning real procedures, in depth systems, very very fine details of the aircraft, those will be represented much better in the FENIX. FBW has the same goal of complete fidelity in the end, it doesn’t have cabin rendered yet. I would stick with the FBW and save your cash for another aircraft (PMDG 777 or 737-900 <?>). Textures and sounds are FBW is really really good and it certainly is "enough" for A to B hops, Vatsim etc. Back on FSX, I had both the Aerosoft Airbus X and the PMDG 737, but I found myself mostly flying the 320, although there were the occasional 737 flights. Textures are better. So for the people that have used the FBW A320 in MSFS 2024, how does it compare to the either the iniBuilds A320, or iniBuilds A321, in MSFS 2024? Jun 26, 2023 · Its simple if you want the best A320 Neo for MSFS stick with the FBW but if you want the best CEO or the best A320 in the sim (along with FS Labs) get the Fenix for FSL A321. Primarily, I'm a long-time Airbus flyer, specifically of the A320. Jul 24, 2024 · Having flown both inibuilds A320 neo and FBW A320, I find there are several bugs with systems/simulation with inibuilds version, also it doesn’t sound as A320 neo, Displays on PFD/ND seems odd, VNAV is bit wonky, Actual handling of A320 is bit odd too. The Fenix has much better systems depth and visual cockpit accuracy. Hence, although I'm very happy with the quality of the FBW A320neo, I am still considering the May 19, 2022 · Fenix A320 has higher fidelity, all systems operational, and cabin is fully rendered. The missing callouts in the Fenix are a tad annoying, granted they are optional in the 320 but still the FBW has them. This may depend on how much detail you want to get into in flying the plane. Mar 7, 2025 · First they are different planes, different versions of the a320 (Fenix as the exp of the a321 also), second if you are a hard simmer, want all the details and systems simulated, maybe justifys to buy the Fenix, for me for example not worth it, the FBW team made a awesome job and their plane is more than enough for my simulation needs of the a320. The systems in FBW are still very good though. Fenix is a more "complete" simulation at this point in time - but FBW is making great progress so it's really just for specific features, and the gap will narrow over time. Fenix attention to detail is pretty insane. . Mar 7, 2025 · My understanding is that the developmental version (or is it experimental version?) of the FBW A320 works in MSFS 2024. the Fenix is far more realistic than the fbw or indeed basically any commercial flight simulation product released this far, and it set a new bar for flight simulation. Eventually I would assume the Ini one will be comparable with FBW, but, unlike FBW, working on Xbox (main difference). Jan 25, 2025 · Hey guys, the new Fenix A320 is coming out soon, and I wanted to hear from folks that are in the know what makes the Fenix A320 stand apart from the great (free) FlyByWire A320? most of the other threads are very old on … The sound pack in the Fenix is insanely good. (Thrustmaster TCA airbus sidestick, -15% pitch and roll sensitivity, 0% reactivity gives the closest feeling to real aircraft) Feb 14, 2023 · I took some time to compare both with the same flights, settings, etc. edit: most of the breakers work Cheap Vs Expensive: How Much Better Is High-End Flight Sim Gear? Boeing and Airbus Are TERRIFIED of This New Plane | Flying V NEW IniBuilds A320 Neo - Better Than the A32NX FlyByWire? | Full Review May 19, 2022 · Fenix A320 has higher fidelity, all systems operational, and cabin is fully rendered.
