Beat saber index angle. I am having trouble with the normal grip for the index controllers. The unofficial subreddit for Beat Saber. What rotation/position offset do you guys recommend? I don't use any wacky grips, I just wear the index controllers like a normal human being. I have the Z angle offset to around 42 degrees to fix the saber's angle, and I have the position offset forward the full 10cm to sort of "extend" the sabers a bit. The oculus touch controllers were always a bit angled forward compared to the vive and index controllers when it comes to pointing or sword play. You can always try doing more movement with your arms (which you should be doing already) or trying to find a way to manually edit the angle. They force your thumb to be on top. Their positioning with the controller's center of mass closer to the inside of your hand makes handling them much easier. Saberians, Beaters, Saberites, Jedi, we have many names.
